And then that day rolled around, and... Nothing.
Pa-the-tic.
I know! I'm just as angry as you guys! But then, I don't have a right to be, so, maybe more disappointed in myself for leaving you guys hanging high and dry. It wasn't intentional. I don't know what it is, but I would say, "hey, time to update the ole' blogger-roo," and then proceed to take a nap. What's up with that? For shame! I can only blame that too much free time is not always conducive to productivity!
So, the plan will be that when Nate comes back from a serious day of book-reading and paper-writing contemplation... It's on! This is just so you don't think I've forgotten you! I haven't! If anything, Nathan and I wish we could've been home with you guys! I think that for us, Easter week is a time of remembering and celebration, and you can't really remember too much by yourself or celebrate the Good News with just two people. We didn't feel connected to a Church enough to be involved, and nobody does Love Feasts around here, unless you want to PAY FOR IT. Where is the love in that? So Thursday night, Nate and I washed each other's feet, prayed for our families and churches, and ate a bowl of soup. So we felt pretty homesick this week for you guys. We did find consolation in the churches we did attend Sunday morning. We're happy to be a part of those congregations, but look forward to coming back to those who know us best!
More importantly, it's wonderful to be a part of the family of God! And the only reason we can be a part of that family is because HE HAS RISEN!
So very soon (keeping it vague this time!) I'll have those pictures of Prague up! Oh Boy! Very soon!
